Controlled access to La Punta guarantees maximum privacy and security. A typical resort estate averages 10,000 square feet with utilities in place, out of sight, underground. Laze the days away on the private beach at La Punta, the modern clubhouse offers full-service washrooms, and outdoor swimming pool available for the exclusive use of residents and guests.
The private beach “La Escondida” for the exclusive use of guests is nestled in a delightful sheltered cove looking out to sea and surrounded by palm trees and high rocky cliffs where some of La Punta homes are perched.
Snorkeling, swimming or playing in the waves are just some of the pleasant diversions of La Punta’s private beach. Natural palm beach umbrellas for shade and chaise lounges are provided for your comfort.
CLUBHOUSE
Tennis will never be the same after a game on the fully lit tennis courts with palm trees swaying overhead and a picturesque view of the Santiago Bay and glistening ocean in the distance providing ample distraction.
La Punta’s six outdoor clay tennis courts that provide hours of friendly competition and diversion against other Punta community members and guests.
We suggest advanced court reservations upon arrival through the staff of your villa or concierge services. You can also schedule advanced private lessons with a tennis pro:

STAFF
Our staff at each villa strives to provide you with impeccable service and attention to detail. A villa staff usually consists of a maid, cook, houseman and gardener, a multilingual manager oversees and supervises each villa during your occupancy making sure that all your needs and requests are met. Regular staff hours are from 8AM to 8PM. If you need additional hours, please make arrangements with the staff. The fee is $20 USD for each extra hour paid directly to them.
Mexican people are very family oriented, and children are always welcome. However, we appreciate full adult supervision for safety reasons. A nanny can be arranged in advance for an additional fee as well as other personnel such as a bartender, Spanish teacher, masseuse, swimming instructor, golf/tennis lessons, yacht/fishing/boat rental, nurse, etc.
FOOD SERVICE
For normal food consumption, you should anticipate $15-$25 per day per person (adults) including snacks and local beverages (soda, beer, margaritas). The price will be higher for special items such as lobster, prime cut meats or imported wines/liquor.
An initial cash deposit of about $500 is suggested upon arrival so that appropriate stock can be purchased, for parties of more than 8 guests we suggest a higher cash deposit. Food purchases by the staff are not marked up, all receipts will be presented to you for your review, either daily, every other day or at the end of your stay, whichever you prefer.
Customarily and upon your approval, we pre-arrange a welcome Mexican dinner and first breakfast, then you can plan the rest of your meals with your cook. Please agree on the same menu selection for you group each day. Let us know if you need any special items purchased on your behalf before your arrival. The cost of the items are reimbursed directly to the staff. Please notify us of any food allergies in advance.
A sample menu is listed here of some typical Mexican and International cuisine prepared fresh every day gathered from several of our cooks. Although the preparation and presentation of each dish may vary slightly, the basic ingredients are the same. Feel free to request any combination, variation, or make your own suggestions.
NOTE: Tipping is much appreciated to our service personnel. Please remember they will be attending to your every need from early morning to late at night. A rule of thumb is a minimum $8-10 per guest per day paid at the end of your stay. This will be shared among the staff members. If your feel that the service exceeded your expectations, please feel free to leave a more generous gratuity.

La Punta is 25 minutes south of Manzanillo International Airport, airport transfers are available through our crew of private drivers, the cost is $95 each way, $120 for parties of more than 7.
Full-time driver / tour guide: We highly recommend a tour guide if you like to explore Manzanillo and nearby areas, our bilingual chauffeurs will plan and guide you on all the different activities, from renting a fishing boat or arranging discounted golf fees to bargain shopping, the cost is $850 weekly which includes late model suburban, one round trip airport transfer, around the clock service, unlimited mileage, insurance and taxes, gas and gratuity not included.
